These terms cover the sale of The Crofter's Poultry Set. Buying it means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be got round.
What you are buying
You are buying digital books supplied as PDF files. Nothing is posted to you. The Crofter's Poultry Set is three PDFs sold together as one product, and the individual books are not sold separately.
You get a personal licence to read, keep and print the files for your own use, including on your own devices and for people in your own household. You may not resell them, share them publicly, upload them anywhere, or reproduce them for anyone else. Copyright stays with the author.
Price and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and are the full amount payable. There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind.
Payment is taken through Whop, which handles the transaction and card details. We never see or store your payment details. Whop's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself, in addition to these terms.
Delivery
Delivery is immediate. The download appears on screen as soon as payment is confirmed and a link is also sent to the email address you give at checkout. If neither arrives, email us and we will sort it.
Cancellation and refunds
Because this is digital content delivered immediately, when you buy it you agree to it being supplied straight away and you acknowledge that this means you lose the statutory fourteen day right to cancel that would otherwise apply to a distance sale. That is a legal requirement to state and we are stating it plainly.
Separately from that, and going beyond what the law requires, we offer a thirty day refund. If within thirty days of buying you decide it was not what you wanted, email us and say so and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason and you may keep the files. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from and normally take a few working days to appear.
None of this affects your statutory rights, including your right to a remedy if the files are faulty, not as described, or do not work as they should.
This is not veterinary advice
The books are written from many years of veterinary and crofting experience and they are general information, not veterinary advice about your particular animal. They do not diagnose or treat anything. Nobody has examined your bird. You are responsible for decisions about the animals in your care, and where a bird needs a vet you should call one. The books are explicit about where that line falls.
Your own circumstances
Rules about keeping poultry, selling eggs and birds, and what may be fed to livestock differ from country to country and sometimes from county to county. Where those rules matter the books tell you that they exist and how to check them, but it is your responsibility to find out what applies where you are and to follow it.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with these products is limited to the amount you paid for them. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, including lost profit or loss of livestock arising from how the information is applied.
Changes
The books may be updated and corrected over time, and the price may change for future buyers. Neither affects what you have already bought. These terms may be updated for future sales and the version that applies to you is the one published on the day you bought.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you are a consumer you can also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and nothing here takes away the protection of the consumer law that applies there.
Complaints
Email [add email address] and say what went wrong. It comes to a person, not a queue.
