Short version. We need your email address to send you the books. We do not sell it, we do not trade it, and you can have it deleted whenever you want.
What we collect
When you buy, we receive your email address and the details of what you bought and when. Payment is processed by Whop and card details go to them, not to us. We never see your card number.
If you email us, we hold that email and our reply.
Analytics and cookies
This site runs Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and roughly where in the world they came from. It does not use cookies, it does not fingerprint your browser, and it does not follow you to any other site. There is no advertising network anywhere on this site.
The checkout is an embedded Whop component and Whop may set its own cookies to make the payment work and to prevent fraud. Their privacy policy covers that and it is worth a read if you care about the detail.
We use one small piece of your browser's own storage, on your device only, to remember that you have already been shown the message that appears when you go to leave the page. It never leaves your computer and it is cleared when you close the tab.
Why we hold it
To deliver what you bought, to send your download link and receipt, to handle refunds and support, and to keep the records that tax and accounting rules require us to keep. If you ask us a question, to answer it.
If you choose to hear from us about new books or updates, we use your email for that too. That is optional, it is never a condition of buying, and every message has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
The legal basis
Performing our contract with you, for delivery and support. Legal obligation, for financial records. Consent, for any marketing email. Our legitimate interest in running a small business honestly, for the rest.
Who else sees it
Whop, who process the payment and deliver the files. Our email provider, who sends the messages. Nobody else, unless the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone, ever, and there is no advertising network involved in any part of this site.
Some of these providers operate outside the United Kingdom, so your data may be processed abroad. Where that happens it is done under the safeguards that data protection law requires.
Recent purchase notices
The site shows a small slide-in saying someone recently bought the set. Those notices come from real orders, but the only things recorded about an order are the region it came from and the time it happened. Your name, your email address and what you paid are discarded before anything is written down, so that record holds nothing which identifies you, and there is nothing there to be read off the site.
The names on those notices are invented. They come from a fixed list and belong to no customer. We show a name because a bare notice reads oddly, and we invent it precisely so that no buyer is ever named. Each notice says so underneath.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Marketing consent until you withdraw it. Support emails for as long as they are useful, and not longer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email us and we will do it. There is no charge and no form to fill in.
If you think we have handled your data badly and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first and gave us the chance to fix it.
